What is it about cute boys that just sucks all rhyme and reason out of a perfectly logical young girl? Oh the lengths we go to just to impress those around us. Of course, things like weight loss should really be for yourself. We will tell everyone that we just want to be skinny so that we can "feel good about ourselves" or "discover the deeper meaning of life". Most of the time, when a girl says this. She's lying. She really just wants to look cute so that she can "feel good" about how hot she looks in a bikini.
My friend Maddy and I are no different from the rest of these hapless females. We are on a quest to better ourselves because we want to be healthy...it has nothing to do with bikinis nor the cute personal trainers we met at Gold's. What we don't want with this project is to spend exorbitant amounts of money.
Said Trainers did not believe us when we told them "we can lose weight without paying a trainer to show us how." Our visit with these two ended in a friendly but lengthy debate and a challenge...
The Goal: lose 30 pounds
Due Date: September 1st 2011
Prize: 3 Free sessions with a private trainer should we win.
upon losing (which I refuse to let happen) we will purchase these same 3 sessions for $100
We didn't actually calculate how many pounds per week that was until after we left the building. Brains returned, after cute boys departed. However, rather than gazing longingly after our departed wits and wishing that words could be kept on a short leash like an unruly child, we decided to simply...Win.
And win we shall.
